This date of death is in my father's typewritten notes. In thehandwritten records referred to in Notes for her parents, Betsy's dateof death is given as February 9, 1843. (An earlier notation of Dec.31, 1858, is crossed out, and the 1843 date written in above it. Thenin the same notes, under Betsy's entry, the 1843 date is crossed outand the date 1-1-59 date is written in.) Very confusing. -- BryceBabcock
