The Fairfax Forum. Nov. 5, 1987, page 3. Moody LaRue Mr. and Mrs. HalDavis of Fairfax received word recently of the death of Moody LaRue ofLas Vegas, Nev. Dwight (Moody) LaRue was born Dec. 27, 1914 in Fairfaxthe son of Florabet Miller and Van LaRue and died at a hospital in LasVegas Oct. 2, 1987. He was reared by his grandmother in Fairfax wherehe attended school and graduated with the class of 1934. He was anemployee of the Livermore Laboratory testing sight and had retired andhad made many trips back to Fairfax in the past several years,attending the alumni banquets and visiting at the Davis home. Heserved in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was hospitalizedand was undergoing triple heart by pass surgery when he died. The bodywas cremated and the remains were brought to the Wlkup™s GroveCemetery, near Fairfax for burial.
