MARRIAGE: Mary Brown was previously married to a Mr. Davis. In the1910 census two daughters, Irene and Inez (both born in Washington),as well as her Mother J.M. were living in the household headed byJoseph Vredenburg (no 'h'). She and Joseph had been married one year.She had given birth to 4 children but two were living. Eva Lois wouldbe born in August, the census was taken in May.
OBITUARY: The Saints' Herald, Vol 61 p.967; Eva Lois Vredenburg,daughter of Brother and Sister J.C. Vredenburg, was born 28 Aug 1910;died of acute indigestion at her home near Alva, OK, 16 Aug 1914. Shewas blessed by S.S. Smith. Little Lois was an exceptionally brightchild, and loved by all. Only a few days before she took sick, shetold her mother she was going away to be a little angel, and asked hernot to cry for her.
