He was married to Miss. Hester KirkhamJuly 27, 1849. To them were born eight children, only one whomsurvives, Mrs. Pearl Allen of this place. On the 17th day of March,1862, he enlisted in the Thirteenth Indiana Light Artillery. Afterserving ten months he received an honorable discharge on account ofdisease contracted while in the service. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery.MILITARY: Alfred Fradenburg Civil War Veteran Pension.
