BIOGRAPHY: Graduated Rutgers in 1859, student at Harvard 1861-62. Admitted to
NJ bar as attorney in 1862, as counsellor in 1865. On nov. 1, 1897 appointed
judge in the court of errors and appeals, served until 1916, when he retired.
MILITARY: Major in 28th Infantry.
