with the Illinois volunteers. He moved from Illinois to Tennessee in 1832 and
to Iowa in 1835. He joined the LDS Church in 1841. He journeyed to Texas
in 1852 but returned to Harrison County, IA in 1855 where he affiliated with
the RLDS Church.
